HHT 9th International Scientific & Medical Conference

SAVE THE DATE   The 9th HHT Scientific Conference has been moved from the Proposed location of Cork, Ireland to the Mediterranean Coast of Turkey, near the city of Antalya.  The dates, May 20th-24th, 2011, remain the same.

Dr. Pinar Bayrak-Toydemir, Dr. Kevin Whitehead, and Jamie McDonald, MS, CGC, at the University of Utah HHT Center of Excellence are excited to organize the 2011 conference in this beautiful location. The HHT group in Cork, Ireland is enthusiastic about hosting the 2013 Scientific Conference.

 

HHT 8th International Scientific & Medical Conference

The 8th International HHT Scientific Conference was held on May 27-21, 2009 in Santander, Spain. This important meeting has always produced the highest quality scientific information through a wide selection of topics, speakers, and sessions.   This year the conference was attended by over 250 scientific and medical professionals.

HHT 7th International Scientific & Medical Conference
The Seventh International HHT Scientific Conference was held on April 25-28, 2007 in Capri, Italy. The conference was attended by over 150 scientific and medical professionals from 11 different countries. The program is available to view here.

NIH Workshop-Hereditary Hemorrhagic Telangiectasia Vascular Biology and Pathophysiology
HHT Foundation in conjunction with the National Institute of Health (NIH) sponsored an HHT Workshop for basic scientific research in Bethesda, Maryland on June 8 and 9, 2006. The conference provided an opportunity for NIH to formulate an HHT research plan. The workshop included a mix of keynote talks, platform presentations, and open discussion on several themes, including:

  2. Endothelial Biology and HHT
  3. Vascular Biology and HHT
  4. Chemical Genomics and HHT
