Mark your calendars for the next National HHT Conference. The HHT Foundation has listened to your feedback from last year and we are making changes to the ADULT PROGRAM to meet your needs. The YOUTH PROGRAM was a huge success in 2010 and we will be expanding the program in 2012.

More details will be forthcoming in the next few months.

SOUTHWEST REGIONAL HHT CONFERENCE

 November 5, 2011

The conference was held at the University of Texas - Southwestern Medical Center, T. Boone Pickens Biomedical Building. Thank you to the speakers who volunteered their time to present the latest material on the diagnosis, treatment and managment of HHT to over 100 patients, physicians, and nurses. In addition to education and camaraderie, several patients were recruited into the Brain AVM study. On behalf of the HHT Foundation, we are grateful for everyone's attendance and participation.

We would like to acknowledge Robert and Lee Berkman, Greg and Angela Brown, Linda McElvany, David and Charlotte Michael, and Dennis and Maureen Routledge for their contribution to the scholarship fund. The generosity of these individuals allowed 13 adults to attend the conference. Thank you for helping the HHT Foundation advance its' mission of saving lives and improving the well-being of individuals and families affected by HHT.

CME Accreditation - The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center designates this educational activity for a maximum of 7.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s). All participants in the CME program will receive their certificate within the next few weeks.

The HHT Foundation is thrilled to announce The 15th National Patient & Family Conference DVD is now available through our online store.  This 3-Disc DVD Collection is filled with important information you will not want to miss.  We realize not everyone is able to attend a national conference but you can now learn about important topics such as Nosebleed Management,  Screening and Managment of Pulmonary AVMs, as well as Iron Deficient Anemia Management, just to name a few, from HHT Physicians around the continent, all in the comfort of your own home.

While we could not tape every workshop, all of the General Session lectures have been included in this DVD.  Conference Program Books will also be available for purchase for an additional fee.  This 200+ page program booklet includes speaker profiles, a Directory of North American HHT Treatment Centers, as well as the slide presentations from all lectures.
